Oh, I would LOVE to visit the Maldives one day – I am sure your trip was memorable. They are gorgeous! I know how you feel about the beach sand…I have also forgotten to collect some from a few places I have been. I may have to try to connect with people who live there and pay them to send me some – or maybe it is a good reason to return!
