I love god and this subject always amazes me so much. A couple weeks ago I was at church and a pastor did a word on The stars and constellations, and how you can see stuff in the sky that couldn’t possibly be accidental, it was really interesting. This article is also going to significantly help me with my report :)

I just watched Louis Giglio’s sermon on how great is our God & it led me to look at more articles about the universe and our galaxy & I came across this article. What an amazing God we have... He is so glorious and magnificent, you can’t even fathom Him. And He knows us by name!!!

Yes, I have seen strange phenomenons in the sky. And, if God created the earth, why not create other planets with life. But, the factors of enormous space make it highly unlikely that we have had alien visitors. For example, the fastest spacecraft that humans have devised can travel about 17,300 mph. That's pretty fast. But the nearest planet that has some earth-like features is Proxima B, which is 4.22 light years away. By multiplying the speed of light and how far it travels in one second, multiplied to minutes, hours, days and years, gives a light year a very long way away.So, if a spacecraft were traveling 17,300 mph it would take it about 163,000 years to get there. And then there's the trip back. I cannot imagine any being, human or otherwise, taking a trip for that long. So, we have probably not been visited by aliens. What was seen was most likely man made. Also, the SETI Project has been spanning the universe for over 37 years and have not found any signs of intelligent life.

Hi Steven,I know that there are many people who have similar stories to yours. Of course, it is not outside of God's power to create life on other planets. We just don't have that information in his revealed word, so it is not for us to know. I do believe that the exploration of space is a wonderful and exciting endeavor, and who knows what we will discover. But we DO know from so much evidence in the accounts of Jesus' life that his message and words are true, so I hold on to that! And we do indeed have a unique planet, even though it is not outside of God's power to do more than we know! God bless!

Great article.As a follower of Jesus I've wrestled with one thing. When I was 10 years old my older sister and I witnessed a UFO hovering over us. It was at least one hundred yards wide, I couldn't tell how wide but, it was massive. The one that we saw has been photographed and documented having also been witnessed by a pilot and ATC in Virginia and clocked on radar at over 7000mph. I am a solid believer in our Lord Jesus Christ but, I know what I saw and it wasn't from this planet. Maybe Ezekial 1 ?
